چکیده

A curvature compensation technique for bandgap voltage references that utilizes an adaptive reference temperature is presented. This compensation technique is intended for high-resolution temperature-stable analogdigital converters. A test circuit had been designed in a 0.6 μm CMOS technology to implement this technique. The reference voltage has a simulated temperature coefficient of 2.3 ppm/ °C over the temperature range of –40 to 90 °C.

Resistorless BJT bias and curvature compensation circuit at 3.4 nW for CMOS bandgap voltage references

A novel resistorless bipolar junction transistor (BJT) bias and curvature compensation circuit for ultra-low power CMOS bandgap voltage references (BGR) is introduced. It works in the nano-ampere current consumption range and under 1 V of power supply. The analytical behavior of the circuit is described, and simulation results for a 0.18 μm CMOS standard process are analysed. A junction voltage...

طراحی مرجع ولتاژ زیر یک ولت قابل کاشت در بدن با دقت ppm/میکرومتر15 با استفاده از ترانزیستورهای ذاتی(Native)

Voltage references are crucial part of every circuit, providing a fixed voltage regardless of environmental parameters and device loading. Among several approaches proposed for designing voltage references, bandgap voltage references are the most common, but the bandgap voltage reference is bipolar in nature and does not show good stability when the supply voltage is small. Thus according to th...

A Temperature Compensation Voltage Controlled Oscillator Using a Complementary to Absolute Temperature Voltage Reference

This paper presents a temperature compensation voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) based on Cross-Coupled pair and Colpitts structures which is suitable for military fields. Also, two inductors have been used for increasing the negative conductance. By using this method, start-up condition has been improved. Two varactors and a simple capacitor bank are applied for covering a wide tunning range...

A sub-1V 78-nA bandgap reference with curvature compensation

This paper presents a low power bandgap reference (BGR) with 573 mV average output voltage and 0.95-V minimum supply voltage. Here, the resistor ratio of two types of resistors that have opposite temperature coefficient (TC) realizes a second-order curvature compensation. In addition, to reduce the supply voltage we adopt a voltage divider, and we also employ proportional to absolute temperatur...
